Bonus

I went to my local processor to pick up a steer we took in a while back and came home with a box of training aids to boot.

Each leg can be chopped into 4 or 5 dog bones.  At the end of each longer training track one a tracking dog will find a piece of deer.  Twenty legs from five deer and I have enough for 80 to 100 training tracks.  More than enough to Sparta to much more complicated scenarios in the off season and to get Stoic started and see if he can channel his natural nosing ability and prey drive in the direction of blood tracking.

In related news, the dogs now have two shelves of dedicated space in the upright freezer.
Enough for training and the occasional treat.
